Really happy with Joe and the team from Insight Build who worked on our extension and full house renovation. Joe has great energy and always took the time to explain, discuss all elements of the project.  His team has a great work ethic and I always felt they cared about the end result and therefore the original house to the new extension is seamless and looks fantastic.   We used his local team for electrics, bathrooms and windows whom were always on-time, friendly and professional.  Due to a project of this size there is always some snagging and Joe and the team have been responsive and has always come back to rectify and solve any issues. I would happily recommend Insight Build as they have helped us create a beautiful home.

Joe and his team were very clean and tidy. The block paved patio was completed to a very high standard and looks great! Would highly recommend them.

Joe and his team at Insight Build initially re-plastered most of the rooms in our house. Since then we have had all the internal doors, architrave and skirting replaced & fitted, wooden flooring throughout and all rooms decorated. We are really please with the quality of the works and the professional way it was carried out.

Joe built a new porch and did a garage conversion for us and I can honestly say he is the best tradesman we have ever used.   We had had various things done in our old house, including a garage conversion, and time and time again had been dissapointed with the service we received and timescales not being adhered to,  so were expecting similar again, but I can safely say that Joe (and his team) are the hardest working people I have come across. I would often open my kitchen blind early in the morning, and Joe was already outside working away!   He told us the job would take 4 weeks - and it took just under 4 weeks- this was a complete first for us, as previous tradesman have told us a timescale - and then weeks beyond that time jobs still haven't been completed, leading to complete frustration and hours of endless chasing by me!   He would turn up when he said he would and do full days work and the work he did was also to a very high standard. With previous work we have had done with different people, I have always felt the need to oversee what is being done - but didnt' feel the need to do this with Joe at all - he co-ordinated a team of people to undertake works such as the plumbing, electrics, double glazing, and I felt happy just to get on with my everyday life without needing to worry about what was or wasn't being done with our building work. At the time our building work was done I had a 2 1/2 year old and a 6 month old,  so to be able to trust someone just to get on with the work without me having to constantly chase or worry about what was being done, was absolutely brilliant. If we ever need any work done again, we will definitely be getting Joe to do the work for us. A huge, big 'THANK YOU' Joe.

We employed Joe and his insight build team to extend and completely renovate our three bedroom house. The result is our dream come true, an amazing five bed open plan house. This was only possible due to the hard work and dedication of Joe and his team, they were polite, tidy and cared about every detail no matter how big or small. I engaged with Insight build for my garage conversion project. This is the first building project I have undertaken. Although I had several building projects in mind, after listening to all the builder horror stories from my various friends and colleagues, I was a bit wary on engaging anyone. However found a very professional group of builders with Insight build. I am so glad to have engaged Joe Lomas from insight build. Joe and his team have completely transformed our tired and dated, 1930’s semi detached house into our dream home. The build comprised of a 2 story side and single story rear extension. The new seamlessly blends with the original house, outside and in. Passersby continually comment on how impressed they are with the transformation. His team were always polite and friendly and left the site tidy at the end of each day. Joe kept us up dated at all stages and was always available when we had questions. Joe has extensive experience and his advice was invaluable, never steering us wrong with any of his recommendations from tilers, window fitters to kitchen suppliers and plumbers. Joe project managed the whole process for us taking a lot of the stress out of the process. Costs and schedule were as set out at the start of the project, with his team working hard to ensure the project finished on time, well 2 weeks early on a 6 month project. Overall we have been very happy with the service and quality of work.

From sitting down with Joe for the first time to review our plans through to finalising the build and obtaining building control sign-off Joe has been great to work with, he’s enthusiastic, professional and always strives to deliver the best possible experience for all involved. The Insight Build team worked with us for nine months to complete a major house refurbishment and throughout this time Joe has always made himself available to discuss any area of the project at any time. All members of the team delivered exceptional workmanship and took great care and ownership of the property throughout the build. His recommendations for other trades or suppliers has been first class. Joe project managed all resources. The planning of materials and labour to arrive at each stage of the job was always on time and without delay. Invoicing was always in line with the quote, unless a decision had been previously agreed prior to the change of work being done, and broken down in detail. All in all, it has been a pleasure working with Joe and his team to help us achieve everything we wanted.

We invited Joe to quote for the conversion of our separate kitchen and dining room, into one space. I had seen online that Insight had successfully undertaken a job involving complicated steel work and knowing that ours would be challenging in that department I hoped their quote would be competitive and it was. The job gradually evolved from its original form into the conversion of half our downstairs as we decided on certain elements that meant it would need to be that way. Joe and his team took these extra alterations and everything else in their stride, including the extreme weather and a frustrating structural engineer! They were cheery, friendly and great at what they do. Everything was explained to us every step of the way and nothing was completed without our okay and full understanding. The quality of the finish and attention to detail meets my high standards! We were so pleased with what they’d done in the house, we asked for a quote to do the garden and went ahead with that too. Anyone who sees the house can’t believe the transformation and although the garden still needs some more planting (that’s down to us!) it enhances the view out of the back of the house and the space in the kitchen/diner feels like it was always meant to have been that way.
